About Paula

I’m Paula, a personal trainer, yoga teacher and calisthenics enthusiast based in Split, Croatia.

While many of us are drawn to yoga because we want to be more flexible, I believe it is important to build stabilitybalance and strength at the same time. I first started yoga in 2016 because I found a sense of peace in the poses and transitions. By focusing on my breath and physical movement, I managed to hit pause on the anxiety I was experiencing at the time. A few months later, I completed 200 hours of teacher training at Rishikesh Yog Peeth in India and have been practising ever since!

After graduating as a personal trainer a few years later (National Training Centre Ireland), I qualified to specialise in training for older adults as well as for pre-natal and post-natal women. Most recently I qualified as a women-specific coach with Girls Gone Strong.

I’ve been training with a barbell since 2016, and in 2023, I competed in calisthenics at a national and international level, representing Ireland at the Calisthenics World Championships.
